Shauna's hand-sown Marie Antoinette-style dress arrived from New York in late December, coming in early as a gift from the designer. Shauna said, "I am so excited and cannot thank (the designer) enough. This was a project long in the making, and the result is splendid. I planned to wear it a lot to get use to it and just out of excitment, but it takes half an hour and two people to put on! The night will be amazing and I am espeically looking forward to finally showing my dress to everyone."
Official photographs of Shauna in the dress, along with photos of the dress and mask (also a custom-designed piece) were released in the week following the ball. The dress was designed and made by Heather Brown-Piper and the mask by Dragon Wings. Make-up in the official portraits was done by Chanel. Make-up, hair and nails on the day of the event were done by Studio 54.
